Here is some information about Brother Melville Franklin Lucas taken from Temple Lodge records:

“....The application of Melville Franklin Lucas M.D. was then read for the first time. The same was received and referred by the W.M. to a committee of investigation consisting of Bros. Jas. Evans, Sam Robinson and Wm. Gidley.....”

[Note: the application for initiation of Robert Telford was received at the same meeting]
